Mackenzie Woolf is a retailer of quality dog apparel. The products will be sold online as well as being distributed to a select number of high end outlets. Our products are both stylish, innovative and distinct and as such are clearly identifiable from other more generic products in the marketplace.
Some examples of products that will we sell:
We'll aim to give the accurate feedback as frequently as possible. Please feel free to ask any additional questions or to send us your opinions / suggestions to help shape our ideas for the brand.
We're not aiming to sell regular dog products that you would see in the average pet store. The focus is young professional ‘replacement kids’ couples and affluent 'lifestyle' couples; dedicated pet owners that are willing to spend the money on high quality products. We're thinking more along the lines of "style and fashion" over traditional cute pet branding.
Mackenzie Woolf is a new company so we are open minded about the new brand. However, as the logo will be being printed on products and will eventually become a fashion logo reconisable in at least the UK and the USA we want to make sure the logo gives off the right image:
* Upmarket, of high quality, expensive, fashionable
* Cheap, tacky, average and cute
* Pets at Home (http://www.petsathome.com)
Ideally, we would love the logo to include a symbol that will be associated with the brand when separated from the logo, so the symbol by itself can be used on products. An example of this would be the Nike tick which can be used to recognise the brand without the word "Nike".
We like the idea of a kind of simple shape / outline of a Wolf, but again these are just ideas so don't let them limit your creativity!
