Cox Wine Merchants is the new wholesale distribution company owned by Tim Cox. CWM will wholesale premium fine wines into retail and restaurant trade outlets in Australia, commencing mid July. CWM represents the very best new and emerging wine brands from Australia's great emerging wine regions. It is also represented by an extremely well-credentialled sales team with a wealth of industry experience. They have consciously sourced brands that present the trade with exciting opportunities that they would otherwise not be aware of.

The logo needs to say "Cox Wine Merchants" and "CWM". Emphasis should be on CWM with "Cox Wine Merchants" secondary. Either put "Cox Wine Merchants" all together at the same size or if you're splitting it up, keep "Wine Merchants" together. Preference is to have it all together at the same size.
CWM doesn't represent well-known, household names from the very established regions. In a marketplace that's as crowded as the wine market in Australia, unknown brands from unknown regions are often not taken seriously by the trade and can be quickly dismissed. The logo needs to tackle this perception. It needs to present a very polished, professional image. It needs to provide the trade with the confidence that the brands in the portfolio are bankable stars. The logo needs to be serious and professional, not fun and gimmicky. It should be modern, contemporary, stylish and above all professional.
