We are a tourism portal site promoting Myrtle Beach hotels and attractions to potential visitors. Myrtle Beach is a top U.S. destination with more than 14 million annual visitors, and we're looking to take MyrtleBeach.com to the next level with a new look and aggressive marketing campaign. We reach visitors through our Web site, Facebook and twitter.

Myrtle Beach is a repeat destination for most visitors; they come here annually and are passionate fans of the area. Women are the primary target audience because they tend to be the ones shopping for hotels, etc., when they're planning a trip.
We are looking for a more modern, simple logo for use on our Web site, newsletters, Facebook and twitter. We are looking to brand "MyrtleBeach.com" not just Myrtle Beach. Our current logo replaces the dot with a graphic, and we do not want the new logo to do that.
Though our market is a family destination, we do not want the logo to be geared too much toward kids. No beach balls, seashells, sand buckets, etc.
We want MyrtleBeach.com to be front and center with an icon, possibly sun/waves. It should be beachy but not cheesy.
