Big Cities, Small Business
I run a small consultancy in Cape Town, South Africa. We specialise in designing and implementing programmes, primarily for local and regional governments, that support entrepreneurship and small business development. Our clients, therefore, are people working in city and regional government who are responsible for developing the small business sector -- they will be the attendees at this conference.
Erzählen Sie uns, wer Sie sind und wen Sie erreichen wollen?
Invitees to and participants in a two-day conference on encouraging entrepreneurship and small business development in South Africa's major cities. These cities have populations of between 3 and 8 million people and are on a par with cities anywhere in the world. These individuals are government professionals responsible for developing the small business sector, from micro-business to medium-sized businesses, across all sectors: IT, manufacturing, services, media, tourism etc.
A conference logo with the main title being Big Cities, Small Business. The key concept for the conference is getting these city government guys together (which doesn't happen normally) so they can share ideas, experiences and strategies to promote entrepreneurship in the city environment. How can cities actively promote business ideas, networking, collaboration, growth, job creation. This will be used on all conference materials, the website etc and the conference will hopefully become an annual event. Note that South African cities do not have lions and elephants walking around -- they are normal urban environments with first-world infrastructure.
