Lighting company stuck in old ways - needs a modern logo update! (and business card)

LRS is a family owned and operated Lighting Company that was founded in 1991. We focus on installing and maintaining energy efficient lighting for Commercial/Industrial customers in the US. We are a mid-size company with a small company touch and feel. We listen to what our customers want, and are nimble enough to tailor our service to meet their needs. We pride ourselves on our thorough attention to detail, and high quality service. We handle several hundred lighting retrofit projects each year, in addition to providing a year-round lighting maintenance service to large retail clients.

- Our wide range of clients range anywhere from Large Retail Stores, Factories, Hospitals, Schools, Town Buildings, Prisons, etc. As well as Large Energy Service Companies who use us as subcontractors.

-UPDATE (2/5/17) Circular designs have not been gaining popularity with my colleagues so most have been eliminated. Clean, Modern, linear style designs is what is catching on. Use of a star/flash/burst (resembling light) is also attractive. Please continue to elaborate on these style designs.

- UPDATE (2/4/17) for all future submissions please exclude the use of a lightning bolt or a light bulb, as we have decided we are preferential to the designs that do not include them. Thank you!

- UPDATE (2/2/17) we have determined we do want to see "LRS" in the logo but are open to seeing it with OR without "Lighting Retrofit Services"

- Please use a shade of Red as the primary color.

- Energy efficiency and conservation is a large part of what we do, but it should not be the sole focus of our logo

- I have attached a few sample images from around the web that are in our industry, as well as a sample of a logo that was given to us that was picked as our favorite of a few options from a previous designer a few years back but just wasn't quite right. These references are just for style only, we don't need any of the images replicated in our design.
