Summary: multiple sets of illustrations to be printed on square (45x45mm) stickers for kids to transform a paper boxes into an apartment building.
These paper boxes will be stacked on top of each other for a 'apartment' complex/major land mark buildings (art gallery, museum, shopping centre etc - get creative). A maximum of three boxes will be stacked on each other.
2 boxes stacked on top of each other
94mm x 94mm x 94mm
3 boxes stacked on top of each other
141mm x 141mm x 94mm
* each set has 5 sides for each surface of a building - three window sides, one front door side, one roof (the foundation, or bottom of the cube, is blank).
* submissions should be in black and white - the illustrations will be printed and shrunk to the corresponding size (either 2 or 3 boxes stacked on each other)
* Ensure that the lines are at least 2mm apart, when image is shrunk to size. This ensures that markers can easily be used to colour in the image
* illustrations should be able to withstand a small loss of edge rendering. Because there is some misalignment between images and avery labels during home-printing, images will be placed onto avery label templates with margin for error, so the extreme edges of images will be lost.
** Refer to coloured image for example of house construction - dimensions for this competition differ to that example
NOTE: Brown boxers are example of building with two stacked on each other, up to three can be stacked at once.
