We offer a calculator to calculate budgets for bathroom renovations. This calculator is placed on the homepage of a craftsman. The calculator leads a consumer (visitor) through a series of questions to collect his or her wishes and requirements for a bathroom renovation. With completion of the whole series of question the consumer automatically receives an estimated budget for the bathroom renovation.
Most questions are designed as multiple choice with visual support and the user interface operates with an image select box or a multiple image select box (please consult the PDF for further information).
Overall we need ~60 such images. This competiton adresses only a subset of 12 of these images. If you win this competition we would like to order the remaining ~48 images as well at a reasonable discounted price.
Additionally we expect to develop very similar tools for other verticals.
Image Style and Format
The bathroom renovation calculator is a sales instrument that supports craftsmen to sell bathroom renovations worth tens of thousands of Euros. Therefore the appearance of the icons must be professional and attractive.
The images will be used with a resolution of 150x150 pixel to 200x200 pixel (depending on the device and the available resolution).
Neutrality / Adaptability:
The bathroom calculator will be integrated in hundreds of craftsmen homepages. Each homepage with its own style and colouring. Therefore the images must be neutral or adaptle (easily adjustable colouring fort he images) enough to fit into so many different contexts.
If you design the images with an adaptable colouring please demonstrate this by delivering two different colour schemes.
As long as the requirements above are achieved we are open for all kinds styles.
Each image is subject to a question. Hereinafter we define the questions and the required motifs.
The majority of the questions operate with concrete answers like specific product categories. In this case you'll find a reference that explains the product.
Some questions require more abstract answers. In this case we ask you to find the right kind of image to visualize the answer.
In both cases the goal is to find visualizations that are understandable and suitable for averagely informed consumers (not too technical).
This competition covers only a subset of all available questions. We selected the questions in a way to include concrete product specific questions as well as abstract one. If you win the competition we want you to design the whole set of images (~60).
